I use a s7-1516f-3 pn/dp cpu and I have one faulty F-DI module with this error:
Safety program F-IO channel passivated
The diagnostic of the module I have this explanation:
Substitute values are used for one or more input/output channels of an F-I/O.
Check the diagnostics information of the F-I/O for channel errors (such as wire break, short-circuit, discrepancy error) or F-I/O errors. User acknowledgment may be required.
You can obtain more information by searching for the event ID in the STEP 7 online help.
Please any help to fix this error?

Hello,
Try to use ACK_GL instruction in your safety program. This block re-integrates all passivated I/O modules.
If after acknowledgement the problem still exist, please check the wiring of the two channels.
Try also to increase the descrepancy time.

I had the same error and in my case it was the emergency stop wired in the F-DI module.
Only one channel was wired and the other channel was missing.
As explained by Yuwaris, check your wiring and use thie ACK_GL to acknowledge the module:

it was due to discrepancy fault.
